IntroductionEditar
Managing logistics is a soft skill students needs to develop. Facilitate the students’ work and inform the administration before proceeding, but have students ask for the necessary authorization and organize the logistics and preparations for their “Great discoveries of the past” presentations. Allow students to organize themselves and help only if you see that an inconvenient situation could arise.

Session 23, Period 1Editar
Initial PhaseEditar
Planning. Your students must make the necessary arrangements to take the presentations to other classes. Let them organize commissions for the different tasks they need to perform. Your role as coach and facilitator is key here.
Intermediate PhaseEditar
Rehearse presentations of the material prepared in Session 22.
Wrap upEditar
Remind students to practice at home their pronunciation and prepare material for their presentation to other classrooms.
Session 23, Period 2Editar
Initial PhaseEditar
Provide a few minutes for students to check on their pronunciation, sources of information and sentence construction as well as Grammar and Punctuation.
Intermediate PhaseEditar
Have students make final logistics preparations and do a final rehearsal of their presentations. Emphasize that the whole event must be conducted in English.
Wrap upEditar
Provide feedback to the students’ work. Facilitate, do not interfere. Make sure respect is maintained during the process. Should any conflict arise, be sure to exercise your authority to should solve it. Have the leaders of each trio show you a completed checklist for their presentation.
Session 23, Period 3Editar
Initial PhaseEditar
Motivate students to put their best effort into the presentation.
Intermediate PhaseEditar
Go to previously arranged classes and make the presentations. One member of each trio will be responsible for giving the audience the materials with the questions to enhance the other students’ comprehension. Another member will be responsible for providing you with a fully filled rubric.
Each student should evaluate the whole experience. Keep the records of students’ work as a reference for next year.
Sistema social para expresar ideas y manifestarlas al prójimo. Este sistema existe dentro de un entorno social (sistema social) y un sistema lingüístico (ejemplos son el español, francés, k’iche’, kaqchikel, etc.) Tienen que existir ambos sistemas para que pueda existir la comunicación.
