Check that students understand the term “free time” from the paragraph.

Tell your class that you will continue talking about leisure time and weekends. Ask them to compare two hobbies as presented in activity d.

Verify that students are expressing their preferences for activities using comparisons.

With the whole group go over the structures used to talk about free time.

Remind your class of the importance of learning well how to talk about weekend activities.

Students will follow the instructions in and complete activity 24.3 in the student's workbook.

Make sure students write a paragraph 5 to 6 sentences long describing the things they like to do in their free time.
